What it is

A focused tool for composing technical documents out of Markdown - measurement/test protocols, engineering documentation, lab reports - with tables, figures, measurement data and charts, exported to PDF, DOCX, or HTML. A real Markdown to document workflow, not a generic web converter - plain text is always the source of truth.

What it isn't

Not a LaTeX replacement (no custom typesetting or bibliography management) and not a WYSIWYG editor (no click-to-format toolbar rewriting your source). You write Markdown; MD Visor renders and exports it.

Data, not just text

Import a CSV straight into a table, or turn one into a chart from measurement data - both stay live if the source file changes on disk.

Diagrams & formulas

Mermaid diagrams and LaTeX math render inline, right in both the live preview and the exported PDF.

Cross-references

Label a figure, equation or table once and reference it by number anywhere in the text - numbering updates automatically, and every reference is a clickable link in the exported PDF.

Your own Markdown style

A JSON profile sets fonts, sizes and colors once, applied identically to Web View, Print Layout and PDF export - build your own Markdown style in the Style Builder or start from one of five ready-made looks.

Track Changes

A diff against a baseline you control, not just the last autosave - review everything you've changed since you last looked, whenever you're ready.

AI-paste cleanup

Paste text polished by an AI assistant and have smart quotes, em dashes and other artifacts cleaned up automatically before they reach your document.

Crash & data protection

Autosave, safe atomic writes and automatic crash recovery protect your work throughout - a forced shutdown or power loss won't leave a corrupted file or lost edits behind.
